[Antennas] Ground radials

The easiest method is to lay the radials directly on the surface AFTER
mowing the grass almost to the roots, using 'wire staples' made of wire
to hold the radials tightly against the ground .. the grass will grow
back .. and you can mow right over them. There is still a danger of
cutting the radials with the mower blade IF the ground has any surface
perturbations.
The BEST method is burying the radials. You can slice the ground with a
cutting device and lay the wire in the cut .. or you can use a 'sled'
like mine that I pull behind my garden tractor and it buries the wire as
you drive along.
IF you wish ... you can elevate the radials .. then you'll need to
engineer supports at the end of each radial .. and a means of keeping
them elevated above 'head level'.
Good luck
