Scott,

The Belden and Alpha cable catalogs have technical reference sections in the
back that have graphs for cable losses versus frequency.  Each listing usually
has a table to give you a rough idea.  Communications suppliers like Tessco and
Talley have charts for most major brands.  Be aware that cable with the word
"TYPE" in its designation (as in "RG-213/U TYPE") can be inferior to, and hence
more lossy, than the genuine cable.  Cable that is LESS lossy and/or better
shielded than the true military-grade cable will normally be proudly labeled
with a completely different name (as in LMR-400 or  9913).  Caveat Emptor!
