Mike ,I would like to save the website. The information contained in the database is priceless for the AM crowd.
I am a software engineer by profession and can certainly get a web site up and running again.
If you have any information about who is the current moderator, or anyone who might associated with the AMfone web site, please let us know. I would like to contact them and figure out how to get AMfone up and running again.

The AM Window is more accessible than the AMfone.net site is. The Window still has a large amount of technical data there as well as some photos and such. Steve, K4HX, (nee WB3HUZ) used to host the AM Window but decided to submit to the AMfone.net when Brian, W5AMI(SK) started it. He passed the torch to Gary, W2INR, who gave up day-to-day control to an assortment of different moderators.
If I have any of this wrong, anyone is free to correct me or the data here.

This list was first established by Brian, W5AMI many years back He
also established a thing called AM Window.
As he got busy he formed an association with the original owner of
AMFone and they merged. Brian turned over administration and ownership
to him.
AMFone had a link back to this reflector, bu I doubt it works now. I am
not sure if AM Window is still active or not, it was on the same server
as AMFone. I believe it had a separate address, but don't quote me on
that.
I have heard that if you try AMFone very early in the morning, you can
get in. No promises though.
