You sure you're not thinking of Bendix rather then Benrus. The only
reference I can find is Benrus making watches.

However, Bendix made scopes and military related electronic equipment.
Bendix oscilloscope model most frequently referenced in a military
context is the AN/USM-140A, which was used by the U.S. Navy for
laboratory-based electrical impulse analysis. Bendix was a prominent
defense contractor, so they likely produced other test equipment as well.
