Also, there is a group that gets on 3735Khz, every Wednesday night at 6:30 to 7:30pm. It is a bunch of Texas stations, and yes we run AM.If you are too far away, or if it is too early, give us a listen on a remote SDR.

I received this message from a friend this morning and thought I would pass
it along/ It came from Matt, KD0EZS who sponsors the Western Kansas Net on
1.960 KC each Tuesday night at 8 PM Mountain time. It is an SSB net,
although Matt is an active AM operator and is promoting it.

Hello All,
I have talked with some of you individually to see if there is any interest
and I have found that there is.
So please pass the word around to your fellow AM enthusiasts.
In keeping with promoting AM activity I propose that We proclaim Wednesday
Night "AM Night" !
Please Fire up you AM Gear and lets fill all the bands with AM signals!
Most of us are Familiar with the First Wednesday Night of the month Collins
Collectors Net.
So lets make Every Wednesday Night a BIG AM night!
Lets be sure not to interfere with the CCA of course, but the other 3
Wednesdays lets get on the air in AM mode!
I am in no way the leader of this, Just trying to help get it cranked up.
So be sure to use all the bands! 160-10m, call CQ in the usual areas of each
band, when you make a contact be sure to allow time between transmissions
to let someone else come in and the operate as a round table, no need for a
net control.
you can work one band a night or work them all!
Lets start this week! so fire them up Wednesday Evening!
Please pass the word around. I know some of you may get this message more
than once.
Hope to hear a bunch of activity this Wednesday Jan 24th!
See you on the air!

Matt, kd0ezs
