Yes some gear traded between sellers during set-up as usually happens at
all hamfests. But the flea market was open to the public on Friday so there
were plenty of happy buyers then. Some folks do hang on to their equipment
hoping for the prices of a few years ago, but that ship has sailed.

Shelby is a shadow of what it was 15-20 years ago, but so are all hamfests.
The internet has dramatically changed the dealer and manufacturer
attendance at anywhere other than Dayton/Xenia and Orlando.

For anyone wishing to acquire boatanchor gear, I think there was plenty of
interesting and fairly priced gear available at Shelby.

I sold a B&W 1500 for $150, an HQ-180 for $100, and an SB-101 with both
power supplies for $100. I bought a Navy multicoupler for $50, an R-1051
receiver for $100, and a Dovetron for $20. I was satisfied and so were the
other parties.

Most everyone I talked with was having a good time. Your Mileage May Vary.
