Groups.io was created due to Yahoo eliminating their groups feature.  I am 
not familiar with Google groups, I almost detest Google for many reasons, 
they use your information for all sorts of purposes and groups.io doesn't.

Something I forgot to include about groups.io is you can use it on your hand 
held device.  I suggest everyone who is interested take a look at the 
groups.io site to see what they say.

The mailman.qth.net is a traditional listserv kind of email list I
think, which means it won't handle photos.  The question of moving to
groups.io came up on Towertalk email list and users were
overwhelmingly against it, but I don't remember why now.  It had to do
with issues pertaining to google groups, for I forget what.
