Hello all. There has been a 6 meter net on 50.4 in my area for almost 20 years now, meeting at 8PM on Tuesdays. Last night, we were dealing with data modes causing low level QRM. Now, I cycle through using a Lafayette HA460, and Ameco TX62 with a RME 2-11 RX and Gonset Communicator all feeding a homebrew amp. I also have a Radio Shack old school tunable monitor receiver that has low band VHF that reached 50.4 and is also AM and FM, that I use as a 50.4 monitor, but in its case, it is wide enough to pick up 50.313 fairly well. None of the receivers are known for tight selectivity, and my first thought was just bleed over from 50.313. But not tonight. I put my TS590SG on 50.4 and there all that crap was. The fellows I talk to are all south of me, so my yagi emphasizes that direction, and the the other guys did hear it weakly, but their ants were not pointing south. Anybody else finding typists showing up on 50.4?
