[AMRadio] A standard or catch as catch can?

Sure it can. I worked my first Pitcarin Is on 10M SSB mobile with a converted Browning mobile CB....Seems majority of stns now on 28.3-28,500...There would be some freqs U would miss but U could cover lots of that spectrum....Plus AM is on 29.1 and up....73/Hal/WB4AEG...PS we have worked on AM 20 years ago or so...

When it comes to converting old CB gear to 10 meters, are their 23 frequencies on 10 meters that are where most folks end up?  I picked up an old Courier 23 that just needs one crystal changed in the mixer to put all 23 freqs on 10, and wondered if I would be alone.
