Raymond S. Moore, who wrote the books on transmitters and receivers, 1930 to 1980, lived in Key Largo FLA when he wrote the books, but tracking him down, apparently now lives in Wrentham Mass. He has unlisted phone numbers, no ham call sign. If anybody knows, #1 if he is still with us, #2 knows how to contact him, then if he is still contactable, please ask him if he remembers where he got the following: On page 128 of his First Edition book on transmitters, he has info on the Templeton Model Mark 35 TX and a very poor photo. Guessing it was a scan of an old ad and I am looking for their advertisements. Where did he find the photo to put in the book? I have been trying to find any information about this TX but it seems to be no where. The Templeton Electronics Company was in Silver Spring, MD and built these in the 1952-53 years. A local ham has the TX and PS and in beautiful condition, but no info on the company. Have a picture of the gear if anybody is interested. I know it is 26 years since the books were written, and he could be not able to remember, have no clue to his age.
