As I understand it, statistical data on "breakthrough" cases is hard
to come by because whether or not a person has been inoculated against
Covid is information protected by the health privacy law in the U.S.
What I have _heard_ based on interviews with health care workers is
that most of the Covid cases involving people who were vaccinated,
were with folks who got the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. That's the
one-shot that is supposed to be around 60% effective. The Pfizer and
Moderna are up around 90%. If you got one of those two, have no
pre-existing immune system compromises, lead an active healthy life
and avoid indoor crowds you should be okay. Also 65 and older,
consider these vaccines: Pneumonia, Flu and Shingles. Your
pharmacist can advise on scheduling. Those who were vaccinated last
winter should be coming due for a booster shot this fall.

Note: Responses sent directly to me while appreciated (or not) will
be ignored because I'm busy.
