That's a lot of photos. And some nice looking old boat anchor radios
etc. The only thing out of ordinary is the lack of customers. Its real
obvious in the photos. I have been longing to go to a hamfest, like the
ones in Albuquerque that stopped happening 17 months ago. Not that I
need anything, but just to kick tires and chat about things. But then
again, after looking over these photos, I have lost some longing for old
gear. Maybe the pandemic made me realize something. I'm not sure what.
Maybe I should sell off some tube gear. There aren't many of us
interested in keeping boatanchors anymore. I'm depressed.

> Here's a link to the Shelby fest this past weekend. Lot of vintage, lots of Collins (mostly Ebay prices on that), but not a lot of buyers. Some folks sold everything they had, the others carted it all back to where they came from. Weather was perfect, cooler than normal, probably the best WX in 50 years.

No major vendors, like HRO, DXE, MFJ or even some of our larger local vendors from the South. Seems hams today are only interested in typing on their computer and using the hobby as a form of WIFI.
