It is Scotty that is sick. Since he is in an assisted living center Linda
is with him to give care.

Many years back he worked for an oil well servicing company that dealt with
radioactive components. One of his co workers placed an unshielded capsule
of that component under the seat of his vehicle so he was exposed for quite
a while unknowingly, as I recall about a week before they finally located
it.

That has lead to multiple bouts with cancer and other anomalies that no one
should suffer. Most recently he had bladder cancer and was treated for it,
but I don't know how successful that was. Scotty not being on the air is a
loss for sure, a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable individual who would
help anyone at the drop of a hat.

Not knowing what occurred till now, I miss him already for he was an AM
original and always had a good signal into Southern Oklahoma.

Geoff,

I'm not sure I understood all that, which one, Scotty or his wife, has
the vascular dementia? I have talked to Scotty many time and sure
enjoyed both his humor and the great sound of his home brew rig!!

We will miss him on the air.
73,
