[AMRadio] Coil info needed

Repairing a Hammarlund HQ110 that Lea, K4VWD purchased.  Was advertised as working, but  that was not an accurate description.  The 80 meter antenna coil has been crudely rewound, with the wrong wire size ,would expect a #40 or smaller and this is about a #32.  Either it took a lightning strike or somebody transmitted into it.  If anybody has run across this problem before and repaired this coil, do you know the wire size and number of turns for the antenna side of this coil?  I know it will probably be a honeycomb coil, but solenoid wound or honeycomb, the turns are close to the same. Thanks,
