I know, this should be on the milsurp site, but have been unable to send stuff to it, so here it is.  China, of course, has a company that is making VT4C's/211's for the audio market.  A matched set of 4 is $288, pretty good considering they normally go for 160 each at places like ESRC, and I have seen them on ePay for up to $1700 each.  Audiophiles are true suckers sometimes.  Tubes and More sells the same brand, and there is one review from a ham, he put his name and callsign on the review, and it appears he did use them in a milsurp TX.  His call was good in QRZ, but he had no email to ask him more questions.  You can buy them one at a time from Tubes and More also for around 70 bucks each.
