..
Astron Power Supplies:

Astron power supplies are pretty much the standard
for ham use. They provide 13.8 V DC to power most
all of our equipment, and do it well.

Features:
Excellent Solid State Electronic Regulation
Fold Back Current Limiting
Crowbar Over Voltage Protection
Heavy Duty Heat Sink
Input Voltage 105-125Vac
Output Voltage nominal 13.8Vdc, but adjustable
Ripple under 5mV

I have several available:

VS-50 M - 37 amps continuous, 50 amps ICS
It has both an ammeter and a voltmeter. Current limiting
and output voltage are both adjustable from the front panel.
$200

Astron RS-35 M
25 Amps continuous, 35 Amps ICs,
with Voltmeter/Ammeter, $110

RS-20 A - 16 amps continuous, 20 amps ICS; $65

All of these work well and look close to new.
Tested output voltage varies from 0 to 0.02 volts
under load.

Pick up near Ocala is much preferred, especially
for the VS-50 M.

MFJ 4125, 25 amp power supply:

The MFJ-4125 Switching Power Supply has
switchable AC input voltage.
It weighs only 2.9 pounds and measures an
unbelievable 5½W x 2½H x 5¾D.

Features:
25 Amps MAX, 22 Amps Continuous at 13.8 V DC
Lightweight, only 2.9 lbs.
Compact, only 5 ½" W x 2 ½" H x 5 ¾" D
Five-Way binding post for high current radios
Quick-Connectors for low current accessories
Over Voltage protection
Over Current protection
Quiet Internal Cooling Fan
Input Voltage: Switchable AC Input Voltage
Works with AC input from 85 to 135 Vac
or from 170 to 260 Vac
AC Line Fused (5 Amps)
Super Regulation

This one works 100% and looks like new.
In fact, it may be new, but has been tested.

With paper work for $65.

Say Electronics SPS-20 M Power Supply:

This power supply is very heavy duty--MUCH heavier duty
than Astron power supplies. Parts are larger, but most important
is that Astron uses two 2N3771 pass transistors, while Say
uses four -- twice as many.

Rating is 20 amps continuous--not intermittent. Voltage is
variable from 3 V to 15 V DC. The current limit is set to
25 amps, and over voltage to 17 V DC. It has two meters --
an analog ammeter and a digital voltmeter.

This is a linear supply, so no switching noise.

This one works 100%, and looks the same.

Paper work is included for $105.
Pickup near Ocala, FL is much preferred.

Icom PS-20 Deluxe Power Supply / Speaker Combo:

The Icom PS20 is an external 20 amp switching power supply.
It was designed specifically for the IC-551, IC-701 and IC-720.
It has a special 3 pin connector used by these rigs, but it can
be used with any rig in the 100 Watt class. Although this is a
switching type power supply, it does not have any noticeable
switching noise. It is exceptionally well shielded, both with
mechanical shielding, and multiple filtering on all leads.

This device delivers up to 20 amps at 50% duty cycle. It has a
built-in speaker (125 x 77mm). The supply itself is 110 x 180
x 260 mm and weighs 4.2 kg.

This one works fine. It looks exceptionally nice.
With paper work for $120.

..
TenTec 280 Power Supply:

The TenTec 280 can furnish up to 20 amps at 13.8 V DC,
with 18 amps continuous. It is a very heavy duty, solid,
linear power supply.

Compared to the earlier 252 series power supplies, the 280
uses two pass transistors instead of one, and has really
great regulation.

It will power most any 100 W HF rig. It has a power
cord on it that terminates in a 4 pin in line Molex
connector that TenTec used for power for many years.

This one works fine, and looks great as well.

Paper work is included for $89.
..

..
19 Amp Switching Power Supply:

Radio Shack 22-5088 power supply rated at 13.8 V
DC at 19 amps.

It has overload, short circuit, temperature, and
over voltage protection built in.

It is a small lightweight power supply that can be
used on most any VHF or UHF rigs, and most HF
transceivers.

This one is NEW, completely unused, in its original
box for only $75.
..

..
Medium Current 13 V DC Power Supplies:

All work fine, and look fine.

Pyramid Phase III PS-12 regulated supply
Rated at 12 amps. Ideal for VHF and UHF rigs.
With paper work for only $40.

Say Electronics SPS-8 regulated supply
Following SEI's convention, this unit will supply
8 amps continuous. Front panel says 9.6 amps,
which would be ICAS rating. $35

Pyramid PS-7 regulated supply
7 amp supply,
modified with a large heat sink on the top cover.
This supply will run cool! $25

Stinger 6 amp regulated power supply
Up to 6 amps with good regulation. $28

Staco RPS-4, 4 amp supply
This one is still in its original box.
$22

All of the medium current supplies will fit in
a post office medium flat rate box.

..
Pace Communications 5803 Power Supply:

The Pace 5803 power supply is designed to be a bench type
power supply. It varies from about zero up to just over 15
Volts DC output, with up to 2.5 amps current capacity. The
front panel has both an analog voltmeter and analog
ammeter, both with a very soft back light. It also has a
control to vary the voltage, plus binding post output
connectors and switch.

Bottom line is that if you need a bench power supply
this one is ideal.

This one works fine, and looks great. I do not see any
scratches.

Only $35.

..
"Wall Wart" Power Supplies/Chargers:

All of these are "regular" wall warts - not the new noisy
switching type. Use one of these, and you will not need
to put up with all of the interference.
