Since the interpretation of this ruling can generate lots of P&M on the
forum, why not go to the amateur who use to work enforcing the FCC rules.
Riley Hollingsworth, K4ZDH, K4ZDH at arrl.org is now Vice Director of the
ARRL's Atlantic Division. I'm sure he can shed some light on the
"meaning" of the rule as written and also put the bug in the ARRL's ear
if further clarification to amateurs is needed. Likewise, depending on
what Division you're in, drop an e-mail expressing your concern to both
the ARRL Director and Vice-Director in your area. For this activity,
membership is not an issue; awareness is more important.

Throwing this back and forth in this forum does little to get your
concerns to the people who might be able to make a difference or shed
light on the real meaning. BUT, it does/could raise the issue of another
conspiracy targeted against the amateur population.....The
horror...........

For E-mail addresses for other Directors and Vice-Directors, go here:
