I have a hunch if you modify a CB 10 meters, FCC won't worry about it,
at least for now because 10 is dead, and ham radio has a less
draconian emission purity requirement, so unless the 10 meter rig is
putting out square waves up to 1 GHz, FCC will handle it the way
police handle the 55 mph speed limit.
