I have a BC-221 in near mint condx. Took it to Dayton this spring with $50
price tag. No takers.

Also took a non-functional but restorable 75A1, including all xtals, marked
for $75. No takers on that one either.

Got rid of my junker AR-88 (might be restorable with a lot of TLC), but had
to GIVE it away, and the guy almost wanted me to pay him to take it.

I think the market for "vintage" radio stuff is rapidly drying up. Like ham
radio itself, most of us who are interested in it are getting on up in
years, and more interested in thinning the herd than acquiring more stuff.
As our generation "ages out" within the next decade or so, there aren't many
new ones coming in to take our place, so I suspect a lot of our treasure
troves of pure unobtanium will in the not-too-distant future end up in the
landfill, simply because there won't be anyone left around interested in it
anymore.

Sad.
