[AMRadio] Something you don't find often

I'm helping a fellow relocate to a new home and he is downsizing as he goes.  He gave me a Allied Radio, not Knight Kit even though they were the same, tester that at first glance looked like a GDO, but no coils.  When I got it home, I realized it was not a GDO but a crystal activity checker with 3 different styles of crystal sockets.  It looks almost exactly like the Knight G30 GDO, the box, meter, dials, gain pot and phone jack are identical, but has 3 crystal sockets on top.  There is no model number, which Allied/Knight did often, and internet searches turn up nothing, not even a picture. I tried a couple vintage Allied Radio catalogs I found on line, but  nothing in  there either, but possible was sold for only a year or two, and that catalog is not online.   If anybody has any info on this unit, I'd appreciate a copy of it.  It is a tube type tester, runs on 110VAC, has a solid state rectifier and a small transformer for filament and B+. This one works just fine, tried several crystals in it, did not try the key function, thinking it must be a way to key the crystal while you listen in an RX for chirp perhaps.  Found it to be useful in future, I tried an 8400KC crystal in it that gives me trouble in all 3 of my vintage 6 meter rigs, and it showed it was actually pretty sorry compared to my good 8400 rock.
