[AMRadio] HUGE auction of antique and classic ham stuff located in Pleasant Valley, NY

Wow, I saw a TR1TV, and a RCA RBB and a Hallicrafters HT-6. The TR1TV
is somewhat rare, Eldico's TVI proof answer for the earlier TR1. The
HT-6 was Hallicrafters pre-1950 rig putting out about 25 watts but has
great stock audio.
The problem with these auctions is they consolidate entire estates
into one gigantic listing, and the vintage community in an area is
overwhelmed. 15 years ago around here, there were enough guys to take
most of this stuff away. Now, there aren't enough hams interested in
this stuff to absorb it. I hope the fellows in New England know about
this (many starting bids at $1) but I think for many, the "auction"
aspect is a turnoff.
