Now that the QRN level is beginning to subside, activity noted  lately in
late afternoon/early evening on 1880 and 1885. Several evenings in a row I
worked Robert W0VMC, K9GAS and others.  Good signals, although I passed last
night because QRN was too high.

Also, K4BKC and others report hanging out around 3650 in the early evening,
avoiding the increasing congestion in the traditional 3870-90 'window' as
activity picks up for the new  season.
