[AMRadio] OT - TS-440S question

I had the same thing happen as rapidly as you did but with my Yaesu FT-920.   Same cause:   Galled shaft and congealed grease.   I had to disassemble the entire encoder assembly to get the shaft out to polish it and the inside of the brass collar around it.   Hope you don’t have to disassemble that much.   73,   Bob. K5INW
