My post about the Simpson 260 and needing a meter movement, which I did order from Davis Instruments, I should have waited until today, Saturday.  At the WCARS were two brand new Simpson 260 meter movements, and older unit that was an actual meter and case similar to a normal panel mount meter, but the exact 260 scale on the face, and one that was the entire front of the 260 sans the knobs.  The non-NSN stock number started with and 'N', and according to the fellow who had it, whom I've known for more than a couple decades, the N stands for nuclear rated.  Guess he ought to know since he was ABC in the AF, and I don't mean alcohol beverage commission if you have those in your area.
