it's the "internet of things."

you gotta check your toaster with your smartphone.

All my appliances are ancient.  I'm going to shop at used appliance
stores and hope I can stick with old stuff just like my radio gear.

A/C etc. that's forced air is all RFI due to variable speed motors.
All my forced air is from an old AO Smith motor belt driving a big
blower.  There are two speeds:  on and off.
