[AMRadio] Just an evil thought

Around 7:30 PM EDT tonight, I was tuning around with the Hammarlund
HQ-170A. Seems there was lots of AM activity on many of the bands.
QSO on 1883; carriers also popping up on 1945 probably tuneups for the AM
gray hair net.
QSO's on 3704, 3875(roundtable numerous stations), 3880, and 3885.
QSO's on 7285 and 7292(sounded like they were from 4 or 5 land).
QSO on 14286(sounded like KL7OF in Washington and several other
stations).
Weak QSO on 21.425(couldn't hear the calls; was using the 75 meter
inverted vee).
And, last night (Monday) from roughly 7:30 to at least 9 PM, there were a
number of AM stations on 14.330.

Some people just get on the air and make some noise. I guess they don't
need e-mails and cluster horns to get them to fire up the AM rig.
