[AMRadio] Cw and contests

Personally I like to play with contests sometimes.   I use  my boat anchor gold dust twins often in contests on CW.   I use a computer to log but send with paddles.  Its pretty old school but I enjoy it.   Nothing like running a frequency with 50 year old radios among the IC7800s, etc.   Definitely only for a couple of hours at a time.   I wll never be on the winners roll.

You can avoid contests by moving to the WARC bands.

Hello All,

Can we move past the grousing about CW and Contests?

(BTW - Their *is* a CW list.)  Do you all know that I haven't seen a
*single* message their in weeks?

CW is A-1 mode.

AM is A3.

Right now I can't put out a signal on AM.

I sure do listen with my newly restored HRO-50T-1.

At least I can still listen.

Respectfully,

Bob - N0DGN
