[AMRadio] CW-where is everybody?

I was listening on 40M earlier this morning and hearing nothing. I used the
reverse beacons to look at the activity.
I did see activity around 7045 on the East Coast and SE. A little in the
Midwest but not much.
Nothing was reaching the PNW until about 10AM.
I checked all bands and have not seen anyone in the PNW participating.
