I have a program I use when my phone or building activity have kept me off the CW air.  It is freeware from DXZone under the Morse section and it's called 'Morsecat'.  Not to come across any weirder than the normal ham, but I have booted it up and let it run while working on gear just to multi-task the brain and keep me code cognizant.  That way I don't have to break away and find another station to tune in on a receiver for the same practice.  You can set up Farnsworth method and other options to make it more real world. If you use this, you will find your code speed starting to creep up, but I'd rather work a ham at 15wpm using a key, versus one at 30 using a computer.
