There is a fair amount of slow speed CW activity in the old 40 Meter Novice band between 7100 and 7125 kHz. Many there are running old boat anchor Novice rigs, some newer QRP rigs, Ameco AC-1 clones as well as Paraset clones. Lot of old timers there with hand keys as well as some newer hams who are not speed demons with CW and just learning it.

I am surprised to read that. My experience has been that 99 out of
100 CW ops are running plastic radios, maybe even faking it with
computers and can't even copy code. I have operated my Knight T50 and
had the other guy ask what's that, or tell me he hasn't heard a class
C rig with a choke filter power supply in years--decades. I got one
of the FISTS newsletters at Dayton or maybe it was another hamfest,
and there was an article in it about running old tube rigs and the
author bemoaning the fact that no one knew what he was talking about
when he described his tx by the tube lineup.
Anyway, I have immensely enjoyed both my TAC CP510 bug I fixed up last
spring, and my TO Keyer and (from the same period) gray base Vibrokey
paddle. Once the TO Keyer is working properly, it is a real pleasure
to use. Anyway, I hope the vintage CW operating takes off.
