Mike, I've wanted to do that for some time. I even have the stepper motors
and controller. I can write software to basically "autotune" this tuner
using my LP-100 interface to monitor vswr as the motors work the tuner.
One of those back of the burner projects.. I still like to twist knobs too
much I guess. If the taps are set right on the main coil, I can tune this
manually in less than about 4 seconds...
Jim, a blower would be a nice addition for some brute force power!
