The 866A and 3B28 are rated at 10KV peak inverse voltage. The maximum DC
output voltage in a full wave recetifier circuit using a midtapped
transformer is about 3100V, or 6200V using four of them in a full wave
bridge. A 5KV rectifier would not make a good replacement in the
conventional FW rectifier unless the output voltage is less than 1550V
DC, or 3100 VDC maximum in the full wave bridge.

If the rectifier is designed as a replacement for the 866A or 3B28,
then the voltage rating should be at least 10KV.
