I live near San Antonio where it's just as humid, and a little hotter than Houston, but grew up in Nebraska. Nothing between there and the North Pole but a couple barb-wire fences.
I'll take 106 over 36 any old day of the week! Not a day off all this year because of weather, and I work on roofs. Not too much work for a roofer in Ya'lls Arctic winter. HI
Each to his own, but I'll never live anywhere again that I can't grow a palm tree in the yard. Fresh homegrown bananas any one???
   73 and enjoy
     AD5HR
p.s. hit 96 here today, felt great.
