For anyone who might be curious...

Well... Maybe not exactly nonstop, but I got thru the snow-then-rain storm in Northern Virginia, last night.  After that it was clear sailing.  I Did stop for a 3hr nap in Chattanooga, Tn where it only reach 55° for an overnight low.  I'll be home tonite, around 7:30'ish, CDT.

I don't know how you N'orEasteners do it!  New England ain't no place for a Texan! And there's another Foot of snow forecast? Nooo, not me. Not the kid! UhUh!!

I did discover that there's a strong possibility that one of many grounds failed on the mobile installation. Seems the next chore is to replace/resolder every coax connector.

Temporary fix was a braided ground strap from under the antenna mount, to the antenna mount mounting bracket. Made all the difference. Go figure.  

Anyway, about to cross the Alabama/Mississippi state line in 14miles. Then its a short jaunt thru W0XV country, down to Lousyanna, then a scant 258 miles back to the great sovereign republic of Texas!
