[AMRadio] 40 meters

HI Guys,
I've been tuning around a lot the last couple of days and looking for QSO's
to listen to while I am working in the shack. I sure miss those 15m
openings from the Spring! However I bet this fall that band will shorten
back up and tons of AM signals will return. I was up last night and heard
some 4's on 3.885. It was hard to understand them at times, but they were
talking about broadcast gear and lack thereof.

In time the signals built up and the noise, while high, slowly went down
some. It was around 3 a.m. when I went to bed.

So it was fun to lurk while soldering.

From: amradio-bounces at mailman.qth.net [mailto:amradio- Yesterday morning I
noticed the signals with the local group were down considerably on 75
meters. I think things are supposed to get better by the end of this
weekend.
