Don,
I am assuming that a "warm can" is room temperature (unless you are in the
barn) or something reasonable like 70 degrees plus. I have a good friend
that was spraying some valve covers for a hotrod, the can was VERY cold from
overnight in the shop, so he sat it on the heater. Of course, the phone
rang, luckily he went to check on something for that customer, as he blew
out the front windows in the gas station and decorated the inside of the
office area with black wrinkle paint. Not a pretty sight, and all were glad
to see he was still with us!!!!
I'm not insinuating that you meant to put the can in the oven at all. Your
directions just brought back the story which is now funny to all of us,
since no real harm was done. That was sure an expensive pair of wrinkle
painted valve covers!!!!!!!!! Plate glass isn't cheap.
73 and thanks for the tips. I especially want to try the knobs like R-390A
ones in the future.. Now I'll have to let the wife go shopping with the
gals one day, maybe the cats won't squeal on me.
