I operate 40 meters and always to seem to find an AM contact. On 20
meters, generally after one or to CQ transmissions, I can make an AM
contact. Whether it's a dye-in-the-wool AM'er or just someone who pushed
the AM button on is rig, doesn't make a difference to me. They're always
fun QSO's. I generally try to stay clear of any large AM roundtables and
AM anarchy-type operating that generally you can find on bands like 75
meters. To me, they're zero fun, unless you just like to stare at your
equipment for long periods of time.
