It's a guy in Georgia who bought the WE name from AT&T. It is not the
original Western Electric.
The jury is way out there when it comes to getting the original WE quality.
My hunch is the audiophools will cling to the high dollar originals
and treat the new ones the way they treat new off shore tubes.
But, he's doing something we'd all probably like to do, except that
we'd be making HF300s, 810s, 100THs, 813s, 812s, 4-1000As and other
vintage RF and modulator tubes.
