This might be worth checking out:

"... I'm about ready to call a scrap dealer and have it hauled away. I can't
deliver it or put it on the air. I don't want to hassle with feather
merchants. I've thought about giving it to a local ham but most that are
interested in AM either don't have the knowledge to put this transmitter on
the air or just want it cheap in order to resell for a profit.

Maybe I should offer it for a trade. Any thoughts?"
