[AMRadio] coooeeeee from down-under

This is my first post to this list however I have been a reader for some 
time. I am an antique modulation devotee from Cudlee Creek in South 
Australia. In my short amateur career  I have restored a couple of 1950s 
commercial rigs, the most pleasing being an AWA [Amalgamated Wireless 
Australia] tx with a pair of loping 810s as finals. Now I want to do 
what I wasn't allowed to do 45 years ago, that is build a modest 
home-brew tx. I am wondering if anyone has a circuit of a basic AM tx, 
recruiting an 809 or two as finals? Great to be part of this "club" and 
hello to me mate and cobber Gary Halverson K6GLH.
