If you look at the numbers Greenlee says 3.5 mm ( 0.137") mild steel and a 
bud rack panel is typically 0.125".  I've seen the electricians at work use 
them but they have the hydraulic pump handle that makes it easier. They 
prefer to use a plan old hole saw for most of the panel work. They buy them 
by the box full for a couple of bucks each and use them once or twice and 
throw them away.  Noisy but effective and cheap!
