[AMRadio] Viking 500 - no 160m but why on the VFO dial?

I am changing the subject title.

The Viking 500 VFO has a 160m band.  I read that the 80m band is derived
from the 160m circuit but I just checked the manual and it confirms what you
said that the bands are only 10-80m not 160?  Can someone explain why it has
the 160m band on the VFO dial?

The EFJ rig doesn't cover 160.  The WRL rig does.
