Thanks again to all who submitted thoughts on cleaning rat urine off a circuit board. I mis-ID'd the counter, it is a Systron Donner, not and HP. I opted for plain old Dawn dish detergent and hot water with a good scrub brush. After several cleaning and drying cycles, and picking between the pins of the IC's, plugged the board back into the counter without the nixies and was rewarded with no more arcy-sparky around all the nixie driver chips. The ultimate test was to plug the nixies in and see if all that arcing fried the drivers. All tubes lit, and counter works just fine. Now, if I ever get a rig that runs up in the 18Ghz range, I can count the RF. At the bare minimum, I can play freq counter poker like I did in the olden days at the Navy base when this was a 'modern' piece of test equipment.
