[AMRadio] glueing ceramic

Be cautious with epoxies: I know form experience that some tolerate heat
very well while others do not. If this is anyplace that will get hot,
due to (for example) IR radiation from a 3-1000Z (in long winded AM
service), it may get quite hot. Epoxies work well with both porous and
non-porous materials.

Gorilla glue is a polyurethane and extremely strong but tends to foam-up
as it cures, which can push the parts apart and screw up your alignment.
JB Weld is nothing more than a filled epoxy, though there may be
versions made for high-temperature service. Cyanoacrylate glues (Crazy
Glue and the like) are very strong and some (not all) are
heat-tolerant, but need very clean joints and work best with non-porous
materials. Any oils left on the mating surfaces will severely degrade
the joint. Denatured alcohol is your best buddy for any surface
preparation. White glues (Elmer's and Titebond) aren't nearly as strong
as the others but work well on porous surfaces. The epoxies and
polyurethanes are extremely resistant to any solvents; cyanoacrylate is
soluble in (I think) toluene, and the white glues are soluble in water.

Personally, I'd go with an epoxy with a long (24 h) cure because that
gives it a chance to migrate into any pores and form a good bond.
