[AMRadio] glueing ceramic

Something you can try. I never tried it with this type of ceramic. I have
repaired dishes and pottery using evaporated milk. It sounds crazy but I
picked it up off of my sister years ago when the pottery craze was sweeping
the nation. The plates are still in use today.
If there is some oxidation on the pieces, lightly brush them with some
scotchbrite, just enough to make both pieces white again. I took the milk
and poured it on my finger and rubbed it on to one piece and put both pieces
together and held them for a minute or two. I would take some more of it and
go around the outer surface of the fracture, ensuring a good bond. Leave it
be for a day.
I hope it works but I won't guarantee it.

I recently received a B&W CX96C Butterfly Variable in the mail with the
front ceramic or porcelin bar broken in one place. Its a clean break with no
splintering and the pieces will fit back tobether tightly.

What kind of glue have you fellows had success with glueing something like
this that is porous?

thanks in advance & God bless

Ronnie
