[AMRadio] 40-Meter AM Operation

Hi All,

Had a VERY pleasant noon hour to-day up on 7295-KHz...

I re-activated my dormant Viking II "CC" transmitter from its long slumber, in conjunction with my HB 1929-style receiver, and thoroughly enjoyed participating in a roundtable with about a half dozen other AM stations which ran the whole gamut from Flex radios, to rice boxes, to Rangers, and even an ex-BC Gates rig!

There sure are some fantastic-sounding AM signals out there, bar none! (BTW, there is no such thing as a bad-sounding AM signal: some just sound a little better than others, is all!).
