This gentleman did a marvelous job rewinding / repairing an SX-24 meter for
me some years ago. I don't know if he is still active but I did find this

Eldad Benary does extensive movement work. Prices are fair for the work
involved. Reworking a meter to work in the opposite direction could take
some work.
