There are some of us that use Thunderbird as an E-mail client.

Geoff and I both do.

I do not remember how Outlook functions. I ceased using it some
ridiculous number of years ago. It is entirely too prone to
vulnerabilities.

Thunderbird provides three different methods:

Reply - Goes to the originator

Reply to All - Does just what it says. (Sort of useless?)

Reply to List - Also does just what it says.

So far I haven't had an issue using it.
