[AMRadio] For Sale Ads on this list, ideas, suggestions?

On the NJARC list we had problems of every reply going to the list.  Changing the following setting it only replies to the poster  -  unless you use reply all.

Where are replies to list messages directed? Poster is strongly recommended for most mailing lists.

And then I added this to the top of every message as a reminder:

Just remember 
Reply = Poster
Reply All = Everyone

Great, Brian, I never had any problem with Sale/Trade/Wanted postings on
the list when it was allowed, and enjoyed seeing what was "out there."

However, as I recall, one of the main reason the practice was disallowed
and moved to a separate reflector was because many folks would reply to
such ads via the list instead of the seller directly, clogging up the list
with messages that should have been direct. Do we now have a solution to
this problem, or are folks just willing to put up with it as an inevitable
"price" of allowing ads on-list?
