I too have and still do use eBay.  It isn't a matter of trust, or even 
disdain of the auctions.

Things in dealings with the list seem to be more open, and I would 
suspect descriptions that would be more precise regarding condition and 
the like.

Let the whole have their say.

Then Brian, Jim, and Todd will be the final say.
